Beginners Introduction to Climbing Courses

Training for 1 Person:

If you are on your own and wish to learn to climb your best option is to have a lesson on a Friday night Social Climbing Session.

There is a small addition fee of £10 / session - other normal fees still apply (£10 pa + £6 / session) - you should expect to need 2 sessions.

Training for 2 or more people:

You have a couple of options here:

You could still attend the Friday sessions as detailed above.

Alternatively you could opt for a private climbing session for 2 to 6 people, for a weekend or weekday lesson at a mutually convenient time, subject to the Village Hall & myself being available.

I usually recommend an initial 1 1/2 hour session followed by a second 1 hour session (this second lesson could be on a normal Friday climbing session).

For this there is a charge of £21 for the hire of the climbing wall + £22.50 / person for the 1 1/2 hour training session.

Climbing Improver Classes

I also run climbing improver classes for those who have been climbing for a while.

These courses are tailored to your needs and are ideal for 1 to 4 people.

If you wish to learn to climb with "more grace & less grunt", as a friend of mine put it, then these tailored courses are ideal for you.

Improving your climbing technique is a great way to both, climb more difficult routes, and climb for longer.
